All of our personal trainers and nutritionists are fully qualified and have many years experience in working with people of all shapes and sizes. The team is completely dedicated to achieving the results you want and each client is treated as an individual as we know that every single body is different.
However, we do follow a few general rules that can apply to everybody:
Eat to Nourish Your Body – Skipping meals can trick the body into thinking it’s not getting enough food which causes it to hold on to extra calories by storing food! Keeping blood-sugar levels consistent will keep the metabolism functioning properly, so be sure to eat 5/6 small meals a day to keep hunger at bay.
Eat Breakfast Everyday – After a long night of fasting, your body needs fuel to start up your metabolism. Skipping breakfast can slow down your body’s ability to burn fat as it tries to conserve energy so make sure you eat a healthy breakfast within an hour of waking up in order to help keep your metabolism running on high. It’s the most important meal of the day.
Add colour to your plate – Stock up your plate with plenty of fresh salad and vegetables. These will provide you with essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals and enzymes – all of which are just as important for your health as the main food groups – carbs, proteins and fats and are essential for good skin, hair and nails too.
Water is Key – You must drink 2 litres of water daily. Tea, coffee or herbal tea are not included in your daily water intake.
Set weekly Goals – Set yourself short medium and long term goals. These will keep you focused, motivated and give you that great sense of achievement we all love feeling.
Prepare for Success – Preparation is essential. Fail to Prepare, Prepare to Fail.
Don’t give up, the beginning is always the hardest. When you feel like quitting, think about why you started.
