Eat your Parsley!
Here at Educogym, we focus on nutrition just as much as we focus on exercise. It is so important to eat well every day (and that includes Saturday & Sunday too!)
We promote a healthy lifestyle and we encourage all of our members to eat well and not just for weight loss or gain but for their overall well-being, energy and quality of life.
Some members find it hard to switch to a healthy lifestyle following many years of bad habits so we try to make life a little easier for them by sharing recipes and nutritional advice and tips for each individual person. All of our bodies are different and we all think and feel differently.
Are you one of the many people that put your parsley to the side of your plate? We ask that in future you make sure to eat that sprig of parsley because it is full of goodness.
Why?
Parsley is useful as a digestive aid to break up your food
It helps to purify the blood and stimulate the bowels
Parsley is an anti-carcinogenic food (cancer-fighting) which is always good news to us
It contains three times as much vitamin C as oranges and twice as much iron as spinach
Parsley contains vitamin A, C & K and is a great source of Copper and Magnesium
Parsley is a good source of folic acid, one of the most important B vitamins.
Did you know: For a natural breath freshener, try a sprig of parsley!
